At-home Learning Resources and Activities for Kids


Free, virtual groups are now being offered by CTC/HMGYC everyday. Parents must register their children one time for each type of group. They will then be registered for all future sessions for that group. After registration, they will get an email with the link to the group. The link will be the same for that group every week. It is recommended that they download the free Zoom Cloud Meetings app before the start of group.

Dance Daze at Home Challenge and Dance Daze Story Time are free video resources providing children with dancing challenges and stories read aloud featuring dancing themes.

Reading books together is a fun way for parents and kids to grow stronger as a family.  Search Institute together with First Book has curated a set of children’s books in both English and Spanish.

Audible is currently offering its service for FREE to school age kids.  Visit stories.audible.com to find hundreds of titles for kids 0-18.

Go Noodle engages kids with movement and mindfulness through fun dance and activity videos for your kids to follow along with.  Visit https://www.gonoodle.com/ to learn more.
