Ongoing Funding Opportunities

1. Event Sponsorship

First 5 Yolo is proud to help sponsor local events, trainings, and activities that focus on young children and families, and that align with First 5 Yolo’s Mission, Strategic Plan, Guiding Principles, and Priority Areas. Sponsorship requests of up to $250 will be considered toward support of the following types of activities that are offered in Yolo County: Community Events, Professional Development/Trainings, Family Education Events, and Fundraising Events.

Starting on July 1,2017, applications may be returned via email to First 5 Yolo, as noted in the policy.

Program Funding

1. ParentChild+ Planning and Implementation

First 5 Yolo is requesting qualifications from family service providers operating in Yolo County to plan for and implement ParentChild+ home visiting services as outlined in the Notice of Request for Qualifications and subsequent Exhibits below. Any additional information (e.g., exhibits, requirements, etc.) not included in this solicitation, which the Commission finds necessary and material to responding to this RFQ will be posted as an addendum. Letters of Intent Due by April 12, 2024.

Professional Services

1. Audit (Proposal Period Closed)

First 5 Yolo Children and Families Commission (First 5 Yolo) is requesting proposals from qualified independent certified public accountants licensed to practice in California to provide independent audit services for First 5 Yolo for FYE24-26, as outlined in the RFP linked below. Any additional information (e.g. exhibits, requirements, etc.) not included in this solicitation which the Commission finds necessary and material to responding to the RFP will be posted as an addendum here, including answers to questions received.
